Juvenile hypertrophy: Prepubertal breast enlargement that can lead to overgrowth. In the absence of other early signs of sexual development, there is usually no other endocrine disorder. Juvenile hypertrophy could lead to asymmetric breast development. More extreme forms may require reduction mammoplasty (see entry) or other forms of breast adjustment.
